1:24 scratch-built model of 56' rowing shell

This is the website of Michael B. Smith, a builder and restorer of model boats, builder of wooden boats and kayaks, and custom woodworker.

I would normally accept commissions for any and all of the following:

• Building and restoration of wooden boat models, whether from scratch, from kits, or in the half-hull form.

• Building of wooden boats (dinghies and skiffs) and kayaks.

• Completion of selective woodworking projects, including custom-designed jewelry boxes, pets' toy boxes, and pieces of furniture.

However, as my big project at the moment is my dream boat, the Cape Henry 21 designed by Dudley Dix, I am not taking on other jobs until this boat is complete.
